Urgent Care Triage
Urgent Care Triage gives walk-in and urgent care clinics a simple way to capture a patient's triage, move the visit through its lifecycle on a board, and take payment at checkout — all in one app.
What you get
- Triage intake — a customizable intake form patients can fill out on their own phone. Share the public form link or post a QR code in your waiting room. Your nurse sets the patient's acuity; the app does not auto-score the triage or make any clinical decisions.
- Visit board — track each visit as it moves through Triaged → In Treatment → Checkout → Paid → Discharged.
- Patients & Visits — browse your patients and open any patient to see their visits.
- Integrated checkout — at checkout, take payment three ways: tap, dip, or swipe a card on a Dejavoo terminal (card-present), send a card payment link to the patient (via the Vendara connector), or record cash. An approved card payment or a recorded cash payment moves the visit to Paid automatically.
Installing
Open Marketplace, find Urgent Care Triage, and click Install — it's free. The app installs with a ready-to-use triage form so you can start taking visits right away.
Taking payments
- Card-present — to take chip or contactless payments at the front desk, connect a Dejavoo terminal. See Dejavoo SPIn Payments to connect your merchant account and register your terminals.
- Card payment link — to email or text a payment link to the patient, connect your Vendara account. See Vendara Payments to connect.
- Cash — recording a cash payment needs no setup.
Important — not a medical record
Urgent Care Triage is an operational and billing tool. It is not a certified electronic health record and not a clinical decision or alerting system. Your clinic's staff set every patient's acuity and own all clinical decisions. The app does not interpret a triage, flag patients, or recommend care.
Handling protected health information and meeting your HIPAA obligations remain your clinic's responsibility.
